first weekday in quite awhile (1+ months) that i don’t have to wake up early, and what do i do? i don’t sleep (yet). so now it’s about 3:30am and i’m still awake, uploading the beginnings of quite a bit of photos and videos from this extended summer vacation in asia…

there always seems to be so much i have yet to write about, except i never have the time to, or i never have that..feeling..that want to write when i actually do — and since i’ve been complaining about this for quite awhile already, it should come as no surprise.

anyways, last thursday i went to see the song of the sea in sentosa… i didn’t have much to do that day, so i didn’t stay for OT.
on friday i went outside in the morning to look at the sun in the sky, rising up for the start of another day =) it was pretty amazing, except when i looked directly at it and walked back to my desk with a huge purple spot in the middle of my view >.< i wanted to take pictures, but it would’ve been too dangerous with security close by outdoors. it’s easier to sneak the camera around indoors, but they tinted about all the windows around… but oh well i got to see it and that’s the important part.. i don’t think i’ll be waking up that early anytime soon anymore.. unless i don’t sleep until then? haha that’s a greater likelihood…
stayed for OT cuz there was tons to do. actually, i basically spent the entire day saving files… who knew saving would take that long? but at the beginning i didn’t think filing could take that long either. i guess i learned better throughout the month…wanted to fall asleep sooo badly though i dunno if i can handle routine work for 8 hrs in a row for every weekday for the rest of my life. isn’t that what i’m striving towards though….
bus home was about 10+ min late… got to see sunset at the jurong area too haha. got home at.. 7:50pm i think

woke up superearly on saturday.. no way was i gonna be late on my very last day. i wanted to go see the sunrise again, but instead spent the morning before work in the file room (i grew very accustomed to that room for the last week…phone calls and whatnot) trying to wrap stuff hahah.. i went in, turned on the lights, and walked right to the very back so nobody would find/hear me. didn’t finish, so i just stuffed some things into my backpack and other stuff into a corner behind a box… and then i spent the rest of the day worrying that other people would go in and find the stuff (but they didn’t!) i got a lotta exercise though..back and forth from the HR department…
i worked over 200 hrs this past month (can’t tell if it’s a lot or not.. sounds like a lot but i’m sure it was quite little comparatively).. don’t get my check until this friday though, so i gotta go back once more..

and then NDP rehearsal. got there at.. 4? seated, took pictures, organized the free bag of stuff they gave (SO MUCH STUFF…food/drinkS/randomitems), took more pictures. oh and videos too. i think i totaled to over 300 combined… and the actual event was only from 4:45-8:30? something like that i don’t remember anymore… there was a lot of national pride, to say the least…

apparently the biggest politician here gets less than S$2 mill a year.. that’s less than an average NBA player… but that’s why the govt can afford to give out “good quality” stuff.. like the highest quality grains (i think?) to the elderly, and sometimes money to people working (too bad i don’t count =) and just things like that… NDP free stuff… etc
“the money given to the community chest is really given back to the people”
if only everyone could be like that…

it’s funny how i never make the effort to get to know people until it’s too late/the end… better late than never? i can’t tell…
it’s funny how i get attached pretty easily…and how it wears off pretty quickly (unfortunately) >.<
